Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
